Blackberry Farm

Land Plus was retained to create a master plan for the expansion of this 12-room inn which was originally a private homestead built in the 1940's. Situated on a 4200 acre estate in the Great Smoky Mountains, this unique residence became the focal point for one of America's most celebrated intimate luxury hotels.

Expansion included additional rooms to the main house, arrival and check-in facility, meeting rooms, private cottages, spa facility and private homestead all designed in such a way as to maintain the quaint character of the property while taking advantage of the dramatic views of the Great Smoky Mountains.

Site architectural elements and specimen plant material add scale and elegance to the residence. The architectural styling is enhanced through the use of hardscape materials and specimen plant material.

An expertly craftd herb garden became a functional focal point from the kitchen and breakfast areas of the main house.
